I'm writing to thank you sincerely for your Need To Lead group coming together as a team to
present a fantastic event at Milton Academy. From Opening Ceremonies to Olympic Town, track staging to the throw
stations, starter's pistol to Awards and the radios and sound system in between, your selfless volunteerism is the
ONLY way we can serve our Special Olympics Athletes, families and coaches and with these kinds of high-quality and
festive competitions. So thank you so much for donating your time and energy...we hope you got as much out of this
as our Athletes clearly did.

October 14th - Room to Dream Foundation
The Bayshore Athletic Club in
Braintree, Ma will be hosting a road race for the Room to Dream Foundation . The mission of the Room to Dream
Foundation is to create healing environments in hospitals, communities, and homes for children and adolescents
who are facing chronic illnesses. They need are help and support on the 14th to raise the necessary funds to continue
with their goal. Volunteers needed from 8:30am-1:00pm. They will need us to work water stations and also help with the
games and events for children, etc. Please visit roomtodreamfoundation.com and read some of the inspirational stories
of the children and families that they have helped and supported to this point.
October 21st - Special Olympics
The Special Olympics of Massachusetts will be hosting a Soccer event at Milton
Academy and they have asked us to provide as much help as we can to make sure the athletes have a great day and all goes
as planned.NTL volunteers will be keeping score, organizing games, and encouraging the athletes as they participate and
compete. For those of you that attended last year’s event you know how inspirational these athletes are and the how rewarding
this experience can be for all of those that attend! Volunteers needed 7:30am- 12:00pm.
**If anyone knows of an individual with experience taking video please let us know if you think
they may be willling to donate some of their time to our events.**
